A BRIEF HISTORY OF MERIDIAN:
Meridian Construction has been bringing first-rate general contracting, construction management and design/build services to northern New England for the better part of two decades. Originally established in January 1993, we've continued to employ a wealth of wisdom and innovation over the years by combining hands-on experience with modern creativity.
It was our early success in the commercial market that ultimately led us into residential building. But our dedication for details and outstanding customer communication has led us into being one of the best home contractors in the industry today. Our recent accomplishments speak volumes about our commitment to deliver the highest quality construction along with the most personalized service — from the multiple safety awards we've earned from Associated Builders & Contractors, to the 2009 Good Scout Business Ethics Award, to the 2010 Excellence in Construction Awards.
In 2004, we built a new facility at 32 Artisan Court in Gilford, NH (near Lake Winnipesaukee and the Laconia Airport) that now functions as our primary headquarters. Consisting of over 20,000 sq ft, it holds our main office space (and three additional office units) in the front, as well as light-industrial warehouse space in the back. Please feel free to stop in and say hello if you're ever in the area! We also have a satellite office in Bedford, NH, and a newly opened satellite office in Colton, NY.
